About Me

I am a postdoc in team POLSYS at LIP6 at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) in Paris. I earned my PhD in the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway, University of London under the supervision of Dr. Carlos Cid. Before, I studied computer science at Universität Bremen where I wrote my Diplomarbeit in the AlZAGK group under the supervision of Michael Hortmann. While in Bremen I also worked in the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).

Academic Interests

My (current) main academic interests are:

  • symmetric key cryptology and cryptanalysis with a focus on block ciphers,
  • applications of computer algebra in cryptology,
  • polynomial system solving using Gröbner basis, SAT and MIP techniques,
  • linear algebra over (small) finite fields
  • and polynomial and linear system solving with noise.
